Qualifying for Worlds and Random Thoughts
My Brother and I qualified for worlds, at New England #1 2012 as a 2 man team.
For me Worlds is a chance that most of us have already lost. Allot of us played sports and some of us we're very gifted at them, but for whatever reason life turned us away or made us choose and we lost the road to a shot at a professional sport career... I'm 25 years old, and I have watched as I've made decisions in life (some good, some...well not so good), that have continually pushed my life path…

Day 71
Have started letting this slide due to the lack of positive feedback this site produces and increased spam activity but I figured I'd share this just to not let those douche bags take it over completely.
WOD= Kalsu
On them minute 5 burpees, max rep thrusters @135lbs= 38 mins. 8mins longer then it took me with 115, but I did manage to use the prescribed weight.
Thank you to all Armed Forces service personnel past and present.. you sacrifice is greatly appreciated.

Train outside the square.
Ok so I have the running down pat.If I get an injury I have the eliptical and deep water running.
I have the Crossfit disciplines for complete body utilisation of force and power production, and some extemely awkward but highly effective core stability work to help maintain balance and strength through all movements.
I go swimming in winter, I have ice baths and cold showers. Even room temperature water is for weaklings.
I push the local kids off the monkey bars and…

Ok well I got a great person that inspired me. His name is Austin, he is 7 years old and is battling cancer. His father was a high school teacher of mine. He is battling cancer like a champ his doctor gave him the nickname "Awesome Auston". I asked both Austin and his father if I can put his nickname on my teams shirts. Now I have an honorary team member! I will be training for and running in tough mudder twice as hard! Austin we both have obsticles in our future but we WILL get past them!…

Cue inspirational music!
So the worlds toughest mudder,not just an event, not a race,more than a challenge;now a title shot.
Well ok if I was being honest, lets just say survival of the fittest.So come November I shall stand side by side with the best Darwinian specimens and strain every muscular and mental ability I possess, to complete an event that has a 90% attrition rate. I wanted something witty, and inspiring, and brilliantly catchy. I want an anthem loud and strident, I want a logo and…
